Located along the western foothills of Napa Valley’s celebrated Oakville district, adjacent to Crabb’s historic To Kalon estate, the Detert family vineyard has grown outstanding Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon since 1953.  Over the decades, our grapes have helped establish Napa Valley, and particularly Oakville, as the premier Cabernet winegrowing region in the world. Four generations of family winegrowing and years of consistently remarkable home wine production revealed to us that we should be showcasing the Detert vineyard in a small production wine.  Our mission is to produce exceptional estate wines that are a pure expression of our land.
